Content Mover is used to move data from one Livelink® instance to another.  This is a complex process due to all the related information that has to be moved with an object. 

A document may require its audit information, permissions and the users associated with these elements to be moved with the document. Categories and attributes are often useful and important to move with the document.

The Content Mover module can even recreate the existing parent folder hierarchy of the documents being moved into a new instance.  Content Mover also helps deal with issues associated with removing documents and moving to a new target instance.

Content Mover
Provides cross platform migration of content allowing selected folders to move from one Livelink® instance to other Livelink® instances.

Useful Data Restoration Tool
Content Mover can be used to restore lost data to production.  After restoring your production data to a development server use the Content Mover to restore documents and other objects along with their metadata.
