One of the more challenging extensions
is the custom workflow package that Syntergy developed
to add more capability to Livelink® workflow.
Workflow is traditionally a difficult area of Livelink® to
enhance because of the inherently complex nature.
Syntergy developed a set of custom
workflow tasks as modules. These tasks let users:
- Copy workflow attachments
to an identified folder, e-mail Livelink® Users
or External users or both with the option to
include attachments and attributes
- Route workflow steps for
review to multiple users dynamically
- Create discussions during
a workflow process
- Require electronic signatures
and archive attachments, attributes and form
data associated with a workflow
The new functionality extends workflow
to make it more functional. By modularizing the
tasks, the cost to implement this new functionality
was greatly reduced to the customers. With these
add-ons, workflow brings more productivity to
the enterprise.
