From an intuitive single page user interface, you can import and export entire folder hierarchies and perform powerful data operations on thousands of objects in seconds. The export feature allows designated users to export the metadata into CSV files. After editing the data in Microsoft Excel or Google Docs, users can use the import feature to load in the changes. Updates to the metadata are recorded in the standard Content Server Audit history.

Director is a desktop application with an intuitive drag and drop user interface that focuses on data moving, category/attribute management, records management, bulk operations (document export, import, copy, etc.), permissions management, and reporting. Users can connect to one or more Content Server instances to perform operations such as export, import, copy and move of documents between Local or Network file system and Content Server. Director also supports importing content based on a CSV (Excel) file.

Geo-Replicator: Provides a full multi-directional replication capability. Content Server objects are replicated to one or more participating systems. Any modifications to any of those object will be reflected back to every other replicated object as well as the original object. All sites in production are updated automatically using a proprietary technology that enables transmission of data over low bandwidth networks. When documents are replicated to local servers, user access times are significantly improved, and network traffic is reduced.

Content Mover is used to move data from one Content Server instance to another. This is a complex process due to all the related information that has to be moved with an object. A document may require its audit information, permissions and the users associated with these elements to be moved with the document. Categories and attributes are often useful and important to move with the document.
