Syntergy Connect is a suite of products that enhance interaction between SharePoint farms.
- Connect for SharePoint™ – Make a connection to your SharePoint™ farm and collect data, manage functionality, compare sites, move content across site collections and across farms.
- Connect for Replicator – Visualize the connections between farms where Syntergy's Replicator is installed and configurated. Set thresholds for key performance indicators to monitor the activity of replication packages, events and transferred data. Log historic trends, graph and display key information in an interactive graphical environment. Connect for Replicator builds upon Connect for SharePoint™ (which is included).
- Connect for Data Migrations – With the graphical ability to connect to SharePoint™, Connect if offered in configurations that allow the ability to collect data from external sources and map that content into SharePoint.
- Connect for ShareLink – Transform content exported from the Sharelink Exporter and load content into SharePoint™.
- Cut and Paste – GUI additions to the farm to allow user friendly operations: multi-select, copying or moving of documents including all of its versions. Simple pull-down menus to add cut and copy, email and multi-download capabilities.
- Audit – track changes in the SharePoint environment with easy user interface to view audit history for individual items or query across the entire environment.
- Bulkloader – command line utility for rapid bulk loading of data with given metadata
- ShareLink – provides tools for migration from Open Text Livelink eDocs and ECM to SharePoint
OpenText EMC/LiveLink® Products
- Replicator – Take Livelink® one step further with Replicator by intelligently distributing information in such a way that users on the global network have faster access to the most up-to-date version of documents. Replicator works in low bandwidth environments which mean lower overall infrastructure cost.
- Centera® Storage Connector for Livelink® – Syntergy has partnered with EMC to create a product that stores Livelink® content in Centera® in a fully transparent way. It provides for migration of inactive Livelink® content to Centera® For customers with terabytes of content this provides simple, cost effective storage.
- Bulk Loader – Load information quickly and accurately or allow for scheduled imports or administrator operated functions.
- Content Mover – Assists with moving documents and gathering the required category and attribute information associated with the document quickly, accurately and inexpensively. With Content Mover you can selectively populate a new Livelink® Instance with items from an existing Livelink® Instance.
- SendLink – SendLink enables users to include internal and external document view links as well as internal and external download links via email with personalized messages for each type of link. Access to SendLinks is through the Livelink® object function menu.
- BulkExporter – BulkExporter provides the capability to extract Livelink® content and metadata to hierarchical or flat directory structures. Extracted data can then be imported into other systems or modified and reloaded into Livelink with the BulkLoader tool.
- Live-Mail – Save e-mails and attachments as Livelink® documents. All corporate e-mail knowledge can be indexed and searched in Livelink® Live-Mail connects your favorite e-mail program with your knowledge management system. Users can archive information, search and retrieve corporate knowledge, participate in discussion threads and respond to workflow steps via e-mail.
- Workflow Steps – Adds dynamic functionality to make Livelink® Workflow much more effective. This set of additional workflow steps can reduce the number of steps that require manual processing; like someone manually filling out a form, printing out or e-mailing a document and waiting for a response. It is easier for users to learn and use, thus saving time and money for the organization.
- Live-Mail – Expands workflow so casual users can participate in workflows via e-mail. Allows users to receive workflow steps, attachments and information required to perform the work and the user can reply back in e-mail with the disposition and any attachments.
- Workflow Map Printer – Allows users to generate a JPEG image of a Livelink® Workflow Map. Great for facilitating workflow process design, reviews and documentation. Simply navigate to the workflow map to print, select where to save the image in Livelink® and then have the module generate the JPEG image.
- Workflow Escalation – Systematically manage workflow tasks that are not completed within the assigned due date. Create workflows that can be automatically processed based on the escalation criteria that you define.
- In Box Proxy – In-Box Proxy supports advanced proxy scheduling (proxies can be set-up days, weeks or months in advance) for planned absences such as vacations, conventions, jury duty, etc. This cost effective tool has more functionality than the standard Livelink proxy including the ability to have multiple proxies with overlapping or concurrent access to the original assignee's work.
- Enhanced Password – In use at many large companies and at US Government Agencies, this module adds additional restrictions to passwords by allowing administrators to require minimum integer, character and special character counts, use of common words, reverse words and password reuse.
- Extranet Secure – With Extranet Secure customers (Livelink® groups) are registered to specific content areas such as a folder or project. Any attempt to access content outside the boundaries of the registered content is denied. Standard Livelink® searches are limited to “From Here”, thereby reducing potential overhead. Should permissions be inadvertently conferred outside the boundaries, Extranet Secure ensures access is denied to the content.
- ShareLink – Products and services to enable Livelink® systems to be available in the SharePoint® portal and integrating Livelink® and SharePoint® data.
- BulkExporter – BulkExporter provides the capability to extract Livelink® content and metadata to hierarchical or flat directory structures. Extracted data can then be imported into other systems or modified and reloaded into Livelink with the BulkLoader tool.

- Auto Numbering – A useful data identification and organization tool and can number documents quickly, accurately and inexpensively. Creating consistently numbered documents is extremely helpful for the access and easy retrieval of the right information and critical in most regulated environments.
- Soft Documents – Add documents to Livelink® before you have the physical document. Soft Documents lets you add the document information now so it can be indexed. When the document is ready you add a new version and it becomes a standard Livelink® document.
